No: in fact, most of our arrangements are NOT made with helium at all
Helium balloons float because helium is lighter than air, creating a magical floating effect.
Air-filled balloons, like those you inflate with your mouth, do not float and require structures or frames to hold their shape.
Helium arrangements are perfect for ceilings, bouquets, and floating centerpieces, while air-filled designs are ideal for garlands, arches, and grounded sculptures.

Helium balloons are guaranteed to look their best on the day of your event. However, their longevity depends on the type of balloon:
11” latex balloons typically float for 12-24 hours, but adding Hi-Float can extend this significantly.
Foil balloons last much longer, often several days to weeks.
Larger balloons hold more helium and generally float longer than smaller ones.
We’ll recommend the best options based on your event’s timing and needs.

Measure the ceiling area: Multiply the room’s length by its width (in feet) to get the square footage.
Decide on coverage density: For full coverage, plan for 1 balloon per square foot. For lighter coverage, you can reduce this to 1 balloon per 2–4 square feet.
For example: a 100 sq ft room needs 125 balloons for full coverage

While helium balloons can be used outdoors, we generally don’t recommend bouquets or centerpieces in windy environments, as they can tangle or blow into guests. Instead, consider these outdoor-friendly helium options:
Floating single balloons anchored to short columns or pop-up tents.
Pearl arches, ideal for entrances, pools, or walkways.
Dancing balloon figures, which add playful movement and thrive in outdoor spaces.
